Check out the amazing things Cole bought on eBay:
A gorgeous navy pinstripe Brooks Brothers suit:

And an awesome plaid Ralph Lauren sportcoat (that I found for him):

There is nothing sexier than a well dressed man, no?!

The ever lovely Katrina, of Pugly Feet, used my pic for her Colour Lover palette. Always adoring Katrina's gorgeous palettes, I felt quite honored.

And last, but not least, the incredibly sweet Laia, of Let Me Feel Like a Doll, gave me the smile award!! Which was incredibly flattering considering how much her blog makes me smile!!
Here are the rules:
1. You have to post a song that makes you happy.
2. You can tag as many people as you want, there is no limit.
3. Say at least one thing about each blog you tag, that will make them smile, something nice about their blog that makes you smile when you read it!
The song Sunglasses at Night, by Corey Hart, never ceases to make me happy. Mostly because I remember as a little girl, lying in bed wearing my sunglasses, singing along to this song and feeling oh so cool. ;)

I wanted to post the actual music video but the embedding was disabled, you can watch it here.
I'm passing the award along to:
Meaghan, of Left Hand Endeavor and Quincy, of Q's Daydream. They are both new blogging friends and finding new blogs always makes me smile. Not to mention that they are both incredibly beautiful with amazing taste in vintage clothes and superb etsy shops!!

On Friday night, Cole and I snuck onto someone's farm land, just as the sun was setting, to snap these shots. It really cracks me up that we're now living in the boonies. It's such a change from the overcrowded north shore of Boston, but it suits me well.
Some of you newcomers may not know this, but I have a major obsession with my Hunter wellies. I just completely adore them and any chance I get, I jump at the opportunity to sport them. Shoot, I even belong to a Hunter wellies group on Facebook. I think I might be the only American though. ;)
P.S. Thanks so much for all the lovely comments about my curly hair!! XOXO

Aye aye AYE!
(If you watch I Love Lucy you can repeat that appropriately!)
I need to draw this. Like now.
That green number is S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G!
I hope you all enjoyed your weekends.
I enjoyed a little too much champagne
watching hot men run around in tight shorts.
God bless the AFL!

Nick: "Say, aren't you hot in that?"
Nora: "Yes, I'm stifling. But it's so pretty."
Nora: "Yes, I'm stifling. But it's so pretty."
There are many reasons why I adore The Thin Man movie:
- William Powell and Myrna Loy make the perfect dynamic duo. Their gorgeous accents (when has the American accent ever sounded better) and playful expressions are divine.
- Cole calls me "sugar" just like Nick calls Nora.
- I grew up with a wire hair fox terrier just like Asta.
- Nick and Nora know how to enjoy their cocktails.
- Nora has the most stunning nightgown collection.
- And last but not least, their wardrobes. Perfection.
