Lovely Packages

A huge snowstorm is descending upon the Midwest and we're expected to get 8-10 inches overnight! While the thought of more snow threatens to darken my mood, lovely packages are what brightens my day.



I received a book, heart sunglasses and a gorgeous bow today. The bow was from a swap with Erica, of Sweets and Hearts and the book and sunglasses are from Urban Outfitters. Expect to see me wearing both the bow and sunglasses very soon.

While I'm not usually into a lot of this stuff, I can't get over how accurate and spot on this book is not just for myself but for my loved ones as well. It's freaky.
So, the first person to leave me the day of their birth will learn all their secrets!

Lovely Bloggers & Wonderful Gifts

I won the giveaway at Hi Fashion, and Sherin and Leia not only sent me the very cool Barcelona magnet that I won, but a very pretty bookmark, too.



Clare, of Pretty Green, sent me an amazing package filled with lots of goodies: vintage elbow patches, a vintage French fashion magazine cover, a beautiful card and an awesome little button illustrated by Anke Weckmann.



The always kind Katrina, of Pugly Feet, sent me the most lovely magazine from a Korean bookstore in San Francisco. The spreads are so very dreamy.



My old school friend, Jamilah, of Jamilah's Creative Touch, sent me the most gorgeous photograph from her collection and an adorable scarecrow because we both love fall.



Over the weekend, my beautiful Aunt Geralyn gave me two stunning vintage fur coats. One with a blue fox collar and the other is Persian lamb with a mink collar. I bought the plaid dress on etsy for only $18!!!


As you can see, I'm a very lucky girl with so many amazingly generous friends!!!

Today is the day of my first ever giveaway!! I'm quite excited and hope you are too. As stated last Friday, I made two more bows and two more butterflies and I'm very pleased with how they turned out. Each pin is designed, cut and finished by me and for protection sprayed with a sealer to lock in the color.

Gifts for Jen

Jen's birthday isn't until Tuesday, but I couldn't wait to spoil the surprise! I'm one of those people that get so excited and impatient that I can't wait to share gifts with people. Christmas is pure torture.

Anyways, Jen's my best friend and I adore her sweet baby, Elizabeth, so I made two things for her.
