Three Sheets to the Wind

Last night, Cole and I were in Ann Arbor having a few drinks and cigars (yes, I will occasionally smoke a cigar). On the way home I had him stop to take some photos of my new straw hat. What do you think? A little like a boater and a little like a fedora.







My apologies for my scratched up shin. I am forever bumping into things! Usually my legs have far more bruises.

Oh, and while I was walking to UO some woman passed me and loudly commented "I guess tanning isn't very important here!" Hmpf. I actually prefer not geting skin cancer, thank you very much.

Also, I couldn't resist the sleepwear from the Liberty of London for Target collection. I always feel a bit guilty spending money on things I sleep in, and I feel like I should keep only one, but I love them both. What do you think? Should I keep one or both?

Marshland Mink

I can't get enough of this outdoor location. I think it's so completely gorgeous in a lovely, dreary sort of way. And only in the winter would I be able to walk across this frozen marshland without sinking up to my knees in mud.

Salvation Delights

Whenever Cole and I go to my favorite Mexican hole-in-the-wall restaurant, I inevitably make a stop at the Salvation Army nearby. And that's exactly what we did last night.

In a margarita haze, I wandered around and found two delightful treasures: a vintage red wool beret and a vintage navy Brooks Brothers silk scarf.

Little Annie H.

I think this is my most menswear inspired look yet. As in, I actually look like a dude. ;) Cole wasn't a big fan of me borrowing his pants. Not because he didn't want to share, but because he thought they were unflattering on me. He so kindly said, "You look short" and I replied, "I am short." As a certain someone would say, "La-De-Dah."

Now, I'm not daft. I know this isn't my most figure flattering look, but my god, it was fun to wear. And in the end that's all that matters, right!? Right.

Since it's perpetually freezing outside, Cole and I built an indoor set. What do you think? I need to play around with it a bit more, but overall I'm quite pleased. Plus, I won't have to freeze my arse off anymore!

Even though I have two other nautical striped shirts, I was very excited when my mother-in-law bought me this one from the Rodarte line at Target. She also bought me the leopard dress, which I will show you soon. My mom was sweet enough to buy me this hat when we were out shopping in downtown Royal Oak after Christmas. I bought the high waist jeans at Urban since they were only $39! I feel a bit more pear shaped in high waist jeans, but they are oh so comfortable and you don't have to worry about anything peaking out when you bend over!
