Well, My internet/computer situation has yet to be remedied. Cole and I are currently sharing (read: fighting over) his Mac laptop and hacking into our neighbors wireless (sorry neighbor). I should hopefully get my new cable modem tomorrow, so I can start using my desktop again. I currently only have time to compose a new post and quickly check my email. So please accept my sincerest apology for sucking with not reading and commenting on your blogs! Also, I just wanted to say Thank You So Much for understanding that the move has turned my life upside down!
Hopefully, all should be back to normal by tomorrow!
In my unpacking downtime, I've been doing a little DIY. There's a window in our bedroom that looks out into the living room, so I wanted to use the cafe curtains from our last kitchen to give us some privacy. The only problem was that I had two cafe curtains, and I needed a third. Unfortunately, Waverly no longer sells this pattern so I had to use a long panel curtain and shorten it.
The middle curtain is the one I made.
I used the extra tabs from the curtain to make tiebacks for our window.
I love how they turned out!
I also used the extra fabric to reupholster a chair in our bedroom.
And an extra tab as decoration for the back of the chair.
Since I still had more curtain fabric leftover, I reupholstered my silver chair.
I am very pleased with how all my little projects turned out.
Hopefully, all should be back to normal by tomorrow!
